The Summit Foundation is in a unique position to see the landscape of the entire community and bring people together to help address community needs and gaps. Special initiative grants require vision and collaboration, and must have the potential to transform lives in ways that go above and beyond the regular grant application process.

Special Initiative grants tend to provide support for an extended period to launch a collaborative program that meets a critical community need. Through special initiatives, we are bringing people together to tackle tough issues like mental health, workforce housing and high school completion for at-risk students.

If you have an idea that you think qualifies for a Special Initiative grant, please contact Jeanne Bistranin.
