2011 Mountain Art Gathering: The Finale
Thanks for 13 wonderful years
Last summer, we said goodbye to a classic art show featuring 11 of America’s leading artists as well as five local high school student artists. The Finale of this inspirational event was held July 21 to July 23 in Keystone’s Warren Station. The artists donated 20 percent of all art sales and 100 percent of live auction proceeds to The Summit Foundation. Proceeds from the final year generated over $39,000 for The Summit Foundation.
The Summit Foundation graciously thanks featured artists, The Founders, B.J. Briner, Doyle Goebel, Phil Poirier, and Doug Ricketts, for their continued support and organization of this long-standing annual fundraiser. 2011 guest artists included Chris Dahl-Bredine, Jared and Nicole Davis, Robert Deurloo, Lona Hymas-Smith, Jean and Tom Latka, and Maria Samora, with a live auction piece donated by Roy Brown.
Mountain Art Gathering was a great success due to the commitment of The Founders, guest artists, and a vast committee of dedicated Patrons, booth hosts, lodging hosts, sponsors, and volunteers. The Summit Foundation thanks all these devoted individuals for their time and generosity over the 13 years of Mountain Art Gathering. The hard work and enthusiasm of this group helped bring in over $2 million in sales and more than $600,000 in revenues for The Foundation. Though we said farewell to a classic event, we cherish the relationships made and look forward to new endeavors with all of you in the future.
