Grant and Scholarship Awards

Since 1986, The Summit Foundation has awarded $24.5 million in grants to nonprofit organizations operating programs in Summit, Lake, Grand and Park Counties and in scholarships to local high school graduates pursuing post-secondary education.

In 2015/16, The Summit Foundation and representative Donor Advised Funds distributed over $2.4 million in grants to 90 nonprofit organizations operating in Summit, Lake, Park and Grand Counties.  In addition, $180,800 in scholarship funds was awarded to 100 local high school graduates pursing post-secondary degrees.

The Summit Foundation hosts an annual grant and scholarship awards reception in June.  Awards recognize grants funded in the Fall and Spring cycles, as well as scholarships awarded. The program links below provide an overview of grants and scholarships awarded in those cycles.
