Nonprofit representatives are encouraged to join The Summit Foundation in the first of a series of free workshops to learn more about nonprofit evaluation and impact and how you can apply these tools to benefit your organization.
Jeanne Bistranin, Executive Director of The Summit Foundation, will discuss The Foundation’s recently announced Areas Of Impact.
For more details on these new Impact Areas, please visit the Grant Application section of our website.
We are also pleased to welcome Debbie Wilde, a well-known consultant on nonprofit outcomes and the author of The Sustainable Nonprofit: 10 Strategies to Grow a Successful and Exceptional Organization. Debbie was the Executive Director of YouthZone, a nonprofit organization based in the Roaring Fork Valley. She successfully led the organization through an unexpected funding crisis and will share her first-hand knowledge and practical applications that will help you create outcomes to improve your programming and increase funding opportunities. We anticipate these strategies will also apply to your grant application with The Summit Foundation.
We will offer two sessions of the initial workshop:
Monday March 30 (1 pm to 4 pm)
Breckenridge Grand Vacations Community Center
103 S. Harris Street, Breckenridge
Community Room (located on the lower level)
Tuesday March 31 (9 am to 12 pm)
Buffalo Mountain Room
County Commons, Frisco
We strongly encourage Spring grant applicants to send a representative to one of these workshops (you need not attend both days). Due to limited space, nonprofits may be limited to one or two participants. We may be able to accommodate additional representatives as space allows. Please RSVP your interest in attending (and which workshop) to Elisabeth Lawrence, 970-453-5970 as soon as possible. Attendance will be on a first come, first serve basis.
