Congratulations to the 2014 Great Rubber Duck Race Winners

The Summit Foundation 27th Annual Great Rubber Duck Races 
presented by Breckenridge Grand Vacations

Congratulations to our 2014 winners!  Penny Banks, Michael Nowotny and Joe Natale adopted the three swiftest ducks and each won a week vacation courtesy of Interval International.  In the business race, Stork & Bear Co., Inc.’s duck made it the finish gate first winning the business a snowcat tour with Ski Cooper.  In the Kids Duck Dash, Tom Macleish is the winner of a week vacation for his family thanks again to Interval International.

Lots of Chances to Win in the 2014 Great Rubber Duck Race

LOADS of prizes available for the 27th Annual Breckenridge Grand Vacations Great Rubber Duck Race which is being held on Saturday August 30th in the Blue River in Breckenridge.

More 50 prizes will be awarded in the Hudson Auto Source Kids Duck Dash which will run at 1 p.m.  With prizes from Peak-A-Boo Toys, Vail Resorts, Arapahoe Basin, Mary’s Mountain Cookies, and a limit of 750 kids ducks sold, many ducks will win!

15 prizes will be awarded in the FirstBank Business Battle Duck Race, which begins at 2 p.m. Prizes include a private backcountry powder skiing/snowboarding adventure with Chicago Ridge Snowcat Tours at Ski Cooper – this grand prize is sponsored by the business battle duck sponsor FirstBank of Summit County.  In addition, Copper Mountain Resort has provided One Hit Wonder sessions at Woodward at Copper… our barbecue sponsor, Bonnie Q BBQ is providing a catered BBQ…  Stage Coach Limo provided a limo ride…  Subway donated party platters…  Rockies tickets will be awarded…  a pub crawl on Breckenridge Bike Bus… an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen… And the very last finisher gets three pizzas from Downstairs at Eric’s.

Over 80 prizes will be awarded in the 3 p.m. Breckenridge Grand Vacations Great Rubber Duck Race including a ONE WEEK vacation for the top THREE swiftest ducks.  With over 8,000 ducks expected to be entered, there’s a one in 100 chance of winning.

And CONGRATULATIONS to Breckenridge Grand Vacations Owner Relations Department for its best decorated duck, “Horton Hears a Quack” as voted upon by our expert panel of judges yesterday.  They were awarded a Glass Fusing Workshop for 8 from Ready Paint Fire.  Honorable mention should be made to FirstBank and to Summit Soap Company for their decorated ducks.
