Do you know someone, a business or nonprofit organization that has truly made a difference by their volunteer or community activities? The Summit Foundation is currently accepting nominations for The Summit Foundation Philanthropy Awards.
In November, the 22nd annual celebration of National Philanthropy Day in Summit County will honor outstanding philanthropic and volunteer achievements in ten categories. Sponsored this year by Wells Fargo Bank and Climax Molybdenum, the evening is one of the most emotional and fulfilling events that The Summit Foundation hosts each year. The achievements of both the nominees and winners demonstrate why we all feel so blessed to spend time in Summit County and be a part of the activities of the charitable organizations.
Nominations are being accepted in recognition of outstanding philanthropic and volunteer contributions in ten categories. The categories are Outstanding Philanthropist, Outstanding Volunteer, Outstanding Board Member, Outstanding Educator, Outstanding Professional in a Nonprofit Organization, Outstanding Youth, Outstanding Youth Mentor, Outstanding Citizen, Outstanding Nonprofit Organization and Outstanding Business.
Applications are available from The Summit Foundation Office, any Wells Fargo Bank Summit County location, and this page on The Summit Foundation website. This is your opportunity to recognize and thank those who have demonstrated outstanding support and community involvement.
