The Summit Foundation seeks an Events and Marketing Coordinator

The Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating The Summit Foundation’s events and sponsorship; developing and implementing marketing and public relations plans and materials, as well as website maintenance. 

Key events include a golf tournament on June 9 and 10, 2012, rubber duck race on September 1 and 2, 2012; and parade of homes on September 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2012.  Candidate must be available for the event dates and weeks leading up to each of the events.

The position requires a 4-year degree and two to four years related experience in special events and marketing.

Summit County residency required.

The Summit Foundation seeks a Database and Accounting Administrator

The 3/4-time position requires experience with QuickBooks, accounting, clerical tasks, administrative details, and database management.  Attention to detail and ability to multi-task critical.

The ideal candidate will have

- QuickBooks Proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word) and Windows-based applications
- Background with accounting
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid organizational skills, be reliable, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong customer and telephone interactive skills
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge a plus
